Zea Hunt
Zea Hunt is a violinist based in London, where she recently completed her Bachelor of Music and Master of Performance at the Royal College of Music under the tutelage of Daniel Rowland, Maciej Rakowski and Gabrielle Lester.
A passionate chamber musician, she has participated in festivals such as Mendelssohn on Mull with the Maxwell Quartet, the Stift International Music Festival and played in masterclasses with Gábor Takács-Nagy, the Endellion Quartet and the Castalian Quartet. She regularly leads and performs as a soloist with the Piccadilly Sinfonietta and has given numerous recitals in venues across the UK and Europe including Buckingham Palace, Palazzo Colonna in Rome and Sala Filarmonica in Trento.
Alongside her chamber work, she performs regularly with orchestras including Glyndebourne Sinfonia, Sinfonia Cymru and Chromatica Orchestra. In 2023 she appeared in the West End production of Dr Semmelweis with Sir Mark Rylance, performing on stage and from memory as a deputy violinist for the Salomé Quartet before officially joining the quartet this year as 2nd violinist.
